He replied, "Whether he is a sinner or not, I don't know. One thing I do know. I was blind but now I see."
Jesus healed many people of blindness. He wanted people to see and understand the fullness of the beauty of God's creation. Such an incredible gift. He also heals us of spiritual blindness. Jesus wants to open the eyes of my heart so I can look at the world and see a glimpse of what God sees. God looks and sees hurting people, messed up, lost, blind, stumbling around in spiritual darkness and He desires to heal us of our blindness. This man knew one thing - he was blind and now he can see. This brought him to faith in Jesus - a simple yet strong faith in God's Son.
God, open my eyes and my heart to You and Your plan today. Strengthen my faith. You saved me - that one thing I will focus on today. Amen.
